No “woe to us,” even if we did have to rise around 6 am, and catch a train around 7, because we got to Yankee Stadium early enough before Saturday’s game for a good spot for the photo op with many of the Old Timers who will be taking part in that wonderful annual event Sunday. Kudos to Sue, photographer, setup specialist, and editor, for so many fun shots. They were all, to a man — and several women — gracious and welcoming, and seemed as excited about the opportunity as we were.
