In what has become an off-season tradition for us, Dan and I braved the snow flurries to head in to New Rochelle for dinner at Mo’s New York Grill with fellow Yankee fans Sharon and Bob. We’ve been scheduling up a dinner at Mo’s with them between the end of the season and an annual trek down to Tampa for spring training for a couple years now.
Deciding “when in Rome,” we both went for steakhouse classics — Dan chose the rib-eye, and it was filet mignon for me. Au gratin potatoes and sauteed spinach rounded out the meal, with a fabulous fried banana cheesecake for dessert. Watching the snowflakes out the window, we were all counting the days until we head down to Tampa for fun in the sun which, of course, includes baseball and lots of it!
The food is great, and the walls are lined with photos that fans of all ages will enjoy.
